View ( from indoors ) around noon today.
Just before dinner, I looked out and the snow had stopped. Darn.
My groundskeeper ( aka Bill ) shoveled this morning......
and cranked up the snowblower this afternoon.
Just when we thought the snow was done.....
Here we go again!
I just bought my new tow truck yesterday and not a moment too soon! Eight dollars well spent.
The announcement will be made at 6 am tomorrow.
I'll be listening to the radio with my fingers crossed. And the coffeepot on.
I'm dreaming of a white......Monday!
Vickie
Monday morning update:
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go.
We won't get the snow here until Tues and Weds...hope you get that snow day! LOVE your new truck!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on having a nice snowy Monday! I love your tow truck!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my fingers crossed for your snow day! This is the winter that never arrived in Kansas City. Today was in the mid 60's and gorgeous! I was able to get to the park and go for a nice long walk with the dog and the park was packed.
ReplyDeleteLove that little red tow truck!
Jane
The snow is so beautiful when it first falls. We've missed out this year. Your toy truck is precious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
Mary Alice
You got the first round and we get the second on Tuesday/Wednesday. They say 5-10". I'll believe it when I see it!
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
How fun was this post. I am kinda glad we miss the snow this year but it sure looks pretty. I bet you get that snow day. Love the toys!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Lisa
Vickie,
ReplyDeleteyou get the best toys! Keeping my fingers crossed for your snow day!
Last week we had a 77degree day and today was pretty warm also! I think we're skipping winter this year.
Rebecca
I already have my fingers crossed for Wed. ;) Maybe you will get another round?
ReplyDeleteLove the trucks! Mack liked the post, too.
I'm a little bit jealous! We haven't had any snow this year. It tried a few days ago, but the wind was so bad that it was mostly a dirt storm.
ReplyDeleteYour little tow truck is CUTE!
Love your new little treasure!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to hit the mines today!
love the new truck--such a cute post! sorry you had to work:(
ReplyDeleteSeeing snow sounds like fun to me. I've been wanting snow all winter but just a light dusting so far. We very seldom get more than a couple inches once or twice a year. In fact, the temperature is supposed to be near 70 on Tues. Your red truck reminds me of the one my Mom has from looooong ago in her childhood. (hope she doesn't see this). She also has a metal airplane from that time. She was a little Suzy homemaker from early on so I never understood why she had those toys. It seems out of character for her. I will show her this cute one of yours to bring back sweet childhood memories. Try to stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteShannon
Oh, no. Don't you hate when they plow the roads. The snow looks so pretty though!
ReplyDeleteSorry! We often get a heavy wet snow at Easter. Your truck is cute!
ReplyDeleteI remember going into my 14 yr olds room to turn off the alarm because of a foot of snow that caused school cancellation...he looked at me, smiled and said ..this day is starting out to be a perfect 10!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can.
Adore your tow truck! Love the idea of staying in PJ's all day for what ever reason. Great Post! Thanks for sharing. Cheers SpecialK XoXo

Pretty snow views from the house. We're into spring in Hong Kong but still chilly to my feel.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's alot of snow! We didn't get any this year. Darn. I live in GA so it's hit or miss here. Hope you had a nice day off work and enjoyed all that pretty white stuff.
ReplyDeleteI heart sock monkeys. So I'm following. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I love your blog Vickie and I can't wait to go browse around some more. Must get more coffee first.
