If you haven't heard about the Hey Girl Valentine Party
going on over at Bliss Ranch, you better get yourself on over
and join the fun!
Since I need the voice of reason to prime the last
two dining room chairs, I'm not going to link his likeness to the party.
Below is a picture of Santa.
Let me clarify that for you. Santa.
Let me clarify that for you. Santa.
Hmmmm....something about those eyes.
Well, a few of my goofy friends wanted to jump on the bandwagon,
or in this case the bed, so I let them join the party, too.
You've heard it from the experts!
There. Is. Nothing. Wrong. With. Me.
There. Is. Nothing. Wrong. With. Me.
Don't be shy, join the party!
(You have until February 13th to link up your "Hey Girl" photo.)

Vickie, my burning question is...how did you get those wacky monkeys to stand up by themselves on the bed...? just a little spooky if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha ha..... so glad the monkeys joined in, I love them. And as for Santa, I might be able to pick him out of a line up now, if I just knew how much hair he had under that hat.

Vickie, I LOVE the sock monkeys jumping on the bed! What a riot. They are perfect!
ReplyDeleteWell no, there certainly isn't anything wrong with a grown woman playing with sock monkeys!! :D Good thinking using the jolly likeness... You will need Santa and his elves working hard for you this spring.
ReplyDeleteI was right about the sock monkey thing, wasn't I? :D
Vickie, How can I think of Valentines and Romance and 'Hey girling' when all I can now sing is 'three little monkeys jumping on the bed'? OMG I LOVE sock monkeys! And I don't have to cook for them!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I would think there was something wrong with you if you didn't play with sock monkeys. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteMy Shelley puppy just ate a sock monkey and all I could think about was you:}
ReplyDeleteJust how often do you play with sock monkeys????? I think you need to make Santa a long list!
ReplyDeleteI have been over there to look at all the funny pictures everyone submitted. I probably should've entered this party myself. I just never got around to putting something together. I think your pics are hilarious! What a fun party!
ReplyDeleteVickie,
ReplyDeleteLove those sock monkeys!!!!!There certainly is nothing wrong with playing with the Sock Monkeys!!! I can't wait to get mine. How can you not love those stinkin cute little guys.
Kris

Hi...Just found your blog today...and I'm your newest follower...went back through some of your posts...and those little shoe ornaments are stinkin adorable!!! Plus love your sock monkeys...and it appears I'm not the only one trying to figure out how the heck you made them look like they were walking on air!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll stop by for a visit!
Sharon
Well I'm going to have to try to find some pictures to use because Mr Quirky won't let me use his picture for my Hey Girl. Maybe I should get him a Santa costume....
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like it would be a real gift!
ReplyDeleteHey Vickie ... I bet you are looking forward to when Santa retires this Spring and will make things easier for you.
ReplyDeleteLove your family of sock monkeys. I have a family too ... but just packed away. Maybe I should let them out. In the olden days, my Mom made these for Church fund raisers. After she passed, I wanted to find one of her monkeys, so I started searching and ended up with a family. I never found one of hers. Yes, I would have known the ones she made.
Stay young and yes, it is okay to play with the monkeys.

Hi Vickie,
ReplyDeleteHow I love your cute sock monkeys. I have several of them in my sewing room. They keep me company and put a smile on my face.
Have you seen my "Monkeying Around" post? My new grandbaby boy's nursery is adorable with lots of monkeys...a darling mural or two...and lots of monkey touches.
I hope you have a great week, my friend. Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I'm glad you stopped by.
Smiles,
